Meet Dr. McBride

Dr. Katrinia McBride is originally from a small town north of Denton and has been interested in the dental field since a very young age. She began her education at Texas Woman’s University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2003. Dr. McBride continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She received Cum Laude honors when she graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008.

Dr. McBride is an active member in the Denton County Dental Society, where she has served as an officer for several years and President in 2012. She is also a member of the DFW Study Club, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. McBride recently met the requirements to become a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. This is a prestigious honor that only 6% of dentists in the U.S. and Canada achieve. This honor required over 500 hours of continuing education across all disciplines of general dentistry and an extensive exam that tested her competency in those areas.

She enjoys spending time with her husband Bradley and playing with her two young children, Riley and Reese. In addition, Dr. McBride volunteers as a coach for her daughters 4H Food Challenge team.

Dr. McBride maintains a general practice with an emphasis in preventative, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.
